Minutes:

 

The meeting began at 6:35pm with introductions of Directors and Management. 


A discussion of the 2011 budget ensued.  Frank Lotfian described the budget cuts for next year:

  1. flat rate contract for lawn, snow removal, salting, clean-up, and irrigation services with Prairie Run
  2. door prizes deletion for the 2011 annual meeting because these prizes do not seem to increase attendance substantially
  3. reduction by $50 in the annual dues (from $730 to $680)

 

The Association has met its 2010 reserve goal of >$100,000.  This achievement primarily enabled the reduction in annual dues.

 

The Board recognized insufficient attendance for a quorum.  Members moved and seconded a motion to accept the ballot for directors as shown.  Therefore, Frank Lotfian, Gary Charson, and Jeff Fry were reappointed.

 

A member representative raised 2 questions about rules.

  1. Are sheds permitted?  Answer: Currently these are not permitted by the Association.  The Bylaws specify the requirements for a petition to hold a vote and also that the vote must pass by 2/3.
  2. Parking on the street    Answer: Parking in any spot for more than 7 days is prohibited by the Bylaws.  Parking along sides of the street where No Parking signs are erected, typically the sides with mailboxes and fire hydrants, is prohibited.
