At a Special Co-owner Meeting
on Thursday, May 23, 2002, convened at 7:05pm at the Pittsfield Township
Offices, 6201 West Michigan Ave., Pittsfield Township, Michigan, the
Association passed Bylaw Amendment Proposals 1 through 5. These proposals are
now in effect and will be filed with the appropriate government agency.
Thirteen co-owners were
represented by proxy, and ten co-owners were present, yielding 23 co-owners
present in person or by proxy, surpassing the quorum of 20 co-owners. A motion
was raised, and seconded, to approve all proposals. All co-owners present voted
for the proposals.
A general discussion on
sheds produced a consensus that some sort of commonly available storage should
be allowed, but with limits on size and location relative to the unit. The
Board will consider co-owner feedback and develop a policy for storage units.
Two maintenance/
nuisance items were raised; dust and noise from Morgan Road, and dead trees
along Morgan Road. Concerned co-owners were urged to contact the Township in
writing about these matters. The Board will write a letter to the Township
asking for some plan to cut down on the dust and noise from Morgan Road truck
traffic.
Bobbi and Vance Rykard
won the $50 Home Depot gift certificate giveaway. Larry Voight won the $100
cash giveaway. Prizes will be awarded by mail. Computer generated random
numbers were used to pick the winners out of eligible entries.
The meeting was
adjourned at 7:50 pm.
